In the Glass Menagerie, we have read Scenes I and 2. We will continue reading on Monday; work on your projects and read Gatsby!

Today you worked on reading poetry for your projects; I’ll give you tomorrow to continue as well. You also turned in bookcards for SF.

Today you turned in the answers to the SF questions I gave you yesterday. We discussed with varying success in different classes these answers. Tomorrow you have bookcards due for SF. You’ll also have a chance to work on your projects tomorrow in class.

So few weeks remain!!! Today I gave you discussion questions to answer about SF. I’ve added a link to the right for the hypertext version of the book. Bookcards due Wednesday. Projects due a week from Thursday.

Today we took our last WPME quiz (hooray!), finished discussing Quentin’s section, and voted on t-shirt designs. Each class needs to make sure to read to the appropriate reading on the right dates due to testing. Keep up with your reading schedules! Quentin quiz the next time I see you.

Today we mostly focused on close reading of Quentin’s last pargraphs; tomorrow we’ll continue our discussion after a WPME 15 quiz.

Quentin refuses to end it quickly, but we’ll keep on reading to see how it’s done. Today I returned quizzes and we discussed the latest section of reading; WPME quiz 15 on Friday.

Today we discussed the end of Benjy’s section; tonight begin Quentin’s. We made a family tree for both the Compsons and Dilsey’s family; you also were to consider time and what Faulkner is doing with it in the novel (as a freewrite).

Today we discussed SF and will finish the last section of Benjy’s tonight.
